Hey you people full of craftiness,
It’s such a beautiful morning here in Northants. After my snowy/rainy drive back last night from Harrogate, I was expecting a gloomy day. But, no, the sun has come out to cheer me up. I’m still really tired but thought I’d better get up so here I am.
I thought it would be a good time to tell you what I did with all the pieces of paper I had left over from the show. I’m going to have plenty more next week so I should start making.
You’re probably the same as me, can’t bare to throw out the bits of paper left over from a project, because there’re so pretty. Apart from the bits I get left over from the shows, I have boxes full at home from other things too, which I’m sure you have too, I know, its hard to admit but I know you all do it too. So, what to do with them all?
I’ve come up with one idea using border punches which I posted on the Fiskarettes blog, so please have a look and let me know what you think. I’d also be really interested in finding out if you have your own ideas, I’d love to use up all the things I have at home without having to buy more.
This was a sentiment shared by a few ladies I met in Harrogate over the weekend. They were saying that they really didn’t have room for anything else in their homes, all this was being said while they continued to stuff more bags full of goodies. You know, we’re all the same, its a weakness, but normally a very welcome one. Crafting is such a peaceful escapism, which, I think, if more people did there would be much less sorrow.
So, let me know what you come up with when you dig out your box of bits and bobs because I really need some help.
Until next time..
